Updated technical studies and mapping have been completed for a new municipal drinking water well serving Winchester. As part of this work, updated Wellhead Protection Areas (WHPAs) and vulnerability mapping have been identified within the Raisin–South Nation Source Protection Plan to help protect municipal drinking water sources.
Some properties within the updated Wellhead Protection Area may be subject to drinking water protection policies under Ontario’s source protection program.
